Zhang Xun is the director of the Beijing De Lu An Design Institute (BDLA), focusing on promoting the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture.He has led the planning and design of over 200 temples, including significant projects such as the Lumbini Sacred Garden in Nepal and the Wanghai Chan Temple at Wutai Mountain.Zhang Xun has been invited to give lectures at Tulane University in New Orleans, USA, and delivered a keynote speech at the US-China Future Cities Youth Forum in Boston.He has received numerous international awards and actively promotes Buddhist architectural design.Additionally, he founded the Shambhala Private Equity Fund and H2Gallary, dedicated to promoting the global dissemination of art and culture.

- 2005 Graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
- 2006 Appointed as the director of the China Leaders Training Program by the American Planning Association.
- June 2009 Appointed as the director of Beijing De Lu An Design Institute, successfully transforming the Beijing De Lu An Architectural Design Firm into a planning and design institute and establishing a Buddhist architectural design center.
- 2010 Invited to lecture at Tulane University in the United States.
- 2011 Delivered a keynote speech at the Sino-American Future Cities Youth Forum held in Boston.

- March 2023 Published the paper “The Sinicization of the Architectural Form of Han Buddhism Temples,” included in the proceedings of the Fifth Huangsi Forum.
- October 2023 The overall planning and architectural design for the White Lotus Huayan Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal, led by Zhang Xun, received the American Innovative Design Award and won the Leading Figure Award in the Human Settlements Industry at the “Habitat·Building Scenery” International Architectural Planning and Design Competition in December of the same year.
- 2024 Received the “Industry Influential Person Award” at the Golden Ouzhu Awards.
